Valerie Coe, Leather Artisan, makes custom items from soft, luxurious leather, inlaid and overlaid with things Cowgirls and Cowboys love – - horses, horseshoes, and flowers. I would have to add a Cowboy! Her ‘Loafin Sofa’ pictured here (courtesy of her website) is spectacular. If you want to see more (she makes lamps, planners, and pillows too), visit the Ranch House Collection at the Cowgirl Bootmaker website. 530-233-2564.

I followed Chris around as best I could Saturday (June 20) with my Flip Video at Rockin’ S Arena in Georgia to see if I could bring back something to share. Ignore the novice iMovie creator – - there’s great Chris Cox wisdom to make up for the movie-maker’s shortcomings.

The Mad Cow Company creates unique, rustic, handcrafted products for your home, your body, your horse, and your Cowboy. Their “Western Couture Clutter Necklace” (pictured below, courtesy The Mad Cow Company) immediately caught my eye. Their custom-order Bits and Spurs have WOW power! Click for Retail Locations.
Yesterday I drove to the Rockin’ S Arena in Buckhead GA to audit one day of a Chris Cox three-day clinic. Chris is an amazing and talented horseman, and it was my pleasure to be able to watch him in real life. Here is a description of some of what he teaches at his three-day clinics:
“The 3-Day Clinics will cover the basic horsemanship techniques that Chris teaches in his Instructional Programs, but rather than simply taking instruction from a DVD and hoping to follow accurately, clinic participants will have Chris Cox there in person to oversee, evaluate and assure their progress.
Chris will scrutinize the horses in the clinic, assessing their individual personalities in order to use his insights to help clinic participants better understand their horses. Sharing his vast knowledge and experience, Chris will make it possible for both clinic participants and auditors to move toward a more harmonious partnership with their horses.”
Attending one of Chris’ 6-Day Horsemanship Clinics on his ranch in Mineral Wells TX would be to die for!
