I can’t believe it…. there was a “National Day of the American Cowboy” celebration in Marshall, NC and I missed it! According to Gene Blankenship:
“We held our Cowboy Day event in Marshall which included a Kids Ranch Rodeo and a Team Roping event that evening, all to celebrate the Cowboy Day and the Cowboys of Western North Carolina.”
Gene is Pastor of Land of the Sky Cowboy Church in Buncombe County, and I understand he may be starting a Cowboy Church in Haywood County. Please click his icon below to see his website and his family:
