The Met’s Grey Escort horses, the best the Metropolitan Police has to offer, have been a central part of Royal ceremonial events and official engagements for many years. The eleven grey horses pictured below have been selected for their calm temperaments and coloring; nine will ultimately be chosen to escort William and Kate from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace after the wedding.
Please read much more about the Met’s Grey Escort horses and see more photos here. Also, Rhonda Lane just posted an interesting article about the Royal Mews on her blog: “Mewsing about the Royal Wedding.”

Wild Horse, Wild Ride – the Extreme Mustang Makeover Challenge Documentary — is on the festival circuit at the moment, with no date yet as to when it will be in theaters. Bill Graham’s review of WILD HORSE, WILD RIDE, which he viewed recently at the Dallas International Film Festival, is a great read and definitely worth the time.
