My horse background? * Spent many years in Sarasota, Florida, where I raised and showed Quarter horses while living on a 440-acre horse and cattle ranch * I took riding lessons for years, starting as a child, learning dressage and English riding first, and then fell in love with the Western discipline * Showed Quarter horses in Western Pleasure, halter, reining, a little bit of Hunt Seat *
