Pushbutton Performance Horses at Gerken’s Ocala Ranch.

Ocala’s Barbara Gerken, a lifetime member of the AQHA, FQHA, and NRHA, (and winner of many trophies and championships), allowed me to invite myself out yesterday to watch Robert Westcott of Pushbutton Performance Horses ride two of her show horses at her beautiful ranch in West Ocala. What made it all the more fun was they hadn’t been ridden in quite a while, so I even enjoyed a little bit of rodeo!

Robert has a way with horses. Can’t wait for his next visit to Barbara’s ranch. Robert specializes in showing and working with horses & riders, and also clinics & lessons. Give him a call at 352-583-4878.

Sundown at Buck Daniel Ranch in Okeechobee.

Enjoyed a little bit of heaven Friday afternoon at Buck Daniel’s Ranch in Okeechobee, FL. Riding around the pastures, looking at healthy, well-bred Quarter horse yearlings and mares while the sun was setting… doesn’t get any better than that! It goes without saying I can’t wait to visit the ranch again soon after more of the babies are on the ground.
