The Met’s Grey Escort horses, the best the Metropolitan Police has to offer, have been a central part of Royal ceremonial events and official engagements for many years. The eleven grey horses pictured below have been selected for their calm temperaments and coloring; nine will ultimately be chosen to escort William and Kate from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace after the wedding.
